Conditions necessary for healing to occur

How I came up with concept of this healing method

My method of healing nasal polyps and sinuses

My own healing process and its challenges

I began to wonder further about the consequences of suppressing symptoms with medicines. Obviously, it brings me quick relief, but what exactly does it cause as a result?

Again, I graphically imagined that the immune system is my private army and inflammation and its symptoms a signal that there has been an attack by an enemy and that my army has been fighting it. My body (in this case, my nose and sinuses) is a battlefield. Why is inflammation there? I was unable to answer this question.

If I use medicines to remove discomfort resulting from the fight, I bring a situation that both armies are sedated and the enemy - instead of being removed, remains in my body, because my soldiers are too intoxicated by the drugs to finish their job.

My conclusion was that if this condition had happened many times since childhood, I was unconsciously contributing to a weakening of my immune system. It continues to engage in combat, but the enemy that has never finally left my territory (which is my body) gradually takes over more and more.

Medications weakened my immune system

Well then. I concluded that the medications treated the symptoms but not the causes of the disease. And it wasn't right. I also knew that surgery was not a good solution. But none of the known remedies for my disease worked, and I had no other ideas on how to cure myself.

For a moment, I was terrified by the thought that if I did not find the real cause of my illness and remove it, I might be there for the rest of my life. It was a gloomy vision - no sense of smell or taste, stuffy nose, and choking every night. How am I supposed to live like this? Is this how my life should be?

What if I don't find the cause of the disease?

I did not find the immediate cause, but I understood the indirect one, i.e., what makes the situation worse - taking drugs that suppress or remove symptoms.

I vividly imagined the symptoms of the disease as a siren or indicator light, and taking medication for quick relief was like cutting a cable without knowing why the alarm went off. The threat is still there, some impulse triggers the alarm detector, but since the light bulb and the siren are bothering me, I turn them off. I want comfort now — a strongly short-sighted approach.

I understood that the symptoms of the disease are an alarm, not an obstacle

The impossible situation paradoxically helped me to reflect on my disease, forcing it on me.

I couldn't find the cause of nasal polyps, and the argument that allergies caused them didn't convince me. Allergies also have a cause, and this is not allergens. If they were, everyone in the world would have allergies, and they do not. So what caused my nasal and sinus polyps?

I started to analyze my disease

I struggled with my thoughts, not knowing what to do next. If no surgery, what then? It is impossible to live like this.

I didn't know what to do next

Something inside me protested against the surgery. I have read numerous opinions about the recurrence of polyps and the need to repeat FESS, not to mention the postoperative state of pain and suffering.

Additionally, the same 'voice' within me opposed the need to stay on steroids for the rest of my life to keep my sinuses and nose clean after surgery. Besides, steroids and other drugs did not offer any guarantee.

My instincts protested against me having the surgery

Medicines never cured my illnesses

I have used many nasal and sinus decongestants and inhaled steroids for my asthma. The medications helped relieve the symptoms for a while, and then the symptoms returned.

A few years ago, during one of my visits to the laryngologist, I found out that I had numerous polyps in my nose and sinuses. For a while, I used potent steroids to shrink them, and then medications to maintain this condition. After another few years, however, it stopped working. The conditions of a stuffy, runny nose as well as my irritated sinuses have become my everyday life. Doctors recommended the FESS (Functional endoscopic sinus surgery) together with the deviated nasal septum surgery.

I have been sick since childhood

For as long as I can remember, I have suffered from chronic rhinitis, otitis, sinusitis, bronchitis and asthma. I was allergic to pollen, animal hair, flour, house dust, feathers, mold spores, and a long list of other allergens.

Based on built-in natural ability of the body to self-regulate and regain lost balance

How I understood what healing was after all

To heal yourself = let the immune system work

I realized that to remove the enemy from my territory, I had to let my army do its job to the end and stop drugging it, which knocked the weapons out of its hand.

In other words, I have to allow signals of the ongoing struggle, which are the symptoms.

The question was whether it is still possible to recover my health and clean sinuses without polyps in such an advanced disease.

I thought, though, that since people manage to recover from cancer and other serious diseases spontaneously, then I will cure myself of polyps even more. There is no guarantee, but there is a good chance.

The analysis of my situation reminded me of two previously known concepts that only when combined into one and put into action - became a way to cure myself:

1 Self-regulation of the body

2 Action by non-action

I consider them to be the necessary conditions for curing diseases or, in other words - healing by the force of nature.

Over my lifetime, I spent a lot of time both waiting for a doctor appointment and hours in waiting rooms. I spent a lot of money on medicines, knowing that I have to use them for the rest of my life, so that my disease wouldn't return ... In my case, thanks to the healing by force of nature, it doesn't have to be that way anymore.
