I started a healing favorable anti-inflammatory diet interwoven with intermittent fasting across each day (eating within 8h, IF 16h) to help my nervous system regenerate.
I stopped suppressing any symptoms and started focusing entirely on feeling them in my body while they occur, waiting them out till they dissipate on their own.
I stopped taking my medicines but keep them handy in case of an emergency.
During the time of treatment, I gave up all exercise and invested maximum time for sleeping.
I found out experimentally that a serious obstacle in the flow of energy is stress, and more specifically - blockages in the body that cause it. I have noticed that maintaining a high level of stress in my body - apart from other existing problems - is influenced by food sustaining the inflammation condition. Their elimination combined with a regular intermittent fasting periods across each day began to have a soothing effect on the nervous system, which "calmed down" and allowed me for deeper sleep and automatically - a better level of regeneration.
Within 24 hours of each day, I devoted 8 hours to three meals spread over time (10.00 a.m. the first, 2.00 p.m. - the second and the third no later than 6.00 p.m.), and the remaining 16 hours for fasting - drinking only water during this time.
More details - in the "DIET" tab of this section.
I started allowing all symptoms as they occurred, regardless whether it was a runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, swelling of the nasal mucosa or sinuses, and a totally stuffy nose, headache, earache, or any other pain, shortness of breath or psychological symptoms - waves of emotions accompanied by grief. By allowing symptoms as they come along, I mean not alleviating them excessively or trying to totally suppress them with medicines, eating or any other compulsive activity and, instead, waiting them out - FULLY FOCUSED ON FEELING THEM IN THE BODY- until they eventually subside and dissipate. The only forms of relief during this time of which I allowed were those which didn't interfere and sabotaged the body's activities. Relaxing the body as much as possible during the symptoms and abstaining from any activity, seemed to be the most beneficial - a comfortable position with the eyes closed seemed to work the best. I allowed medicines only in situations of acute suffering, which would only be traumatizing instead of healing.
An essential element of the healing by force of nature is releasing the energy flow suppressed in the body. Some flow obstacles (obstructions preventing the flow of energy) show up as physical symptoms, while the others - through psychological, in the form of waves of emotions and thoughts (verbalized beliefs) that follow them (such as "I suck" etc).
I noticed in the course of treatment that sometimes both of these forms were interwoven and following physical symptoms (like a wave of sneezing and tickling in the nose, a migraine, the sinus pain, earache etc.), apparently unrelated waves of emotions appeared - anger, helplessness, sadness, regret, and despair. Despite wanting to act under their influence and react to them in reality, I DIDN'T SAY OR DO ANYTHING. I did not interact with anyone during these emotions, nor did I allow attention to be distracted from feeling within me until they dissipated.
After waiting out the symptoms, I notice that a wave of energy releases from the body, that has been blocked so far. I feel like some energetic 'vise grip' holding the body from within is loosening up. With each withstood symptom, more and more blockages are removed, and the body's energy flow returns. It means in practice that the symptoms gradually weaken and disappear, and the body gets better.
I stopped taking any medicines to shrink the polyps in my nose, including the mildest, seemingly innocent nasal drops. I also stopped using my asthma steroid inhalers but kept them at hand in case of emergency. I applied them only in hard to withstand suffering situations that might have bring more harm than good and cause extra stress.
Both my observations and the knowledge gained from the natural medicine and the wisdom of my grandmothers allowed me to formulate the principle that going to bed before 11.00 p.m. each day has a significant therapeutic value. The organs of our body function according to a certain daily cycle and following their rhythm is crucial for keeping the body healthy, and even more important when recovering from the disease. I discovered that wisdom for myself again and applied it observing how effectively it influences the healing process.
Besides, I gave up any physical exercise during the healing time, so that all the energy of the body could be spent on the recovery processes, thus accelerating them.
